Our Conformance Goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
We actively review and improve our site on an ongoing basis. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing any part of our website, please contact us immediately — we will work to resolve it promptly.
Website Accessibility Features
The following measures have been implemented to support accessible use of this website.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements — menus, forms, buttons, and links — are fully operable via keyboard. Focus indicators are clearly visible throughout the site.
Screen Reader Compatibility
Pages are built with semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) and ARIA labels so screen readers can accurately convey structure and purpose to users.
Text Alternatives
All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked so assistive technologies can skip them without confusion.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios — 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text — to support users with low vision or color blindness.
Resizable Text
Content is designed to reflow and remain readable when text is scaled up to 200% in the browser without loss of functionality or horizontal scrolling.
Form Accessibility
All form fields have associated labels, clear error messages, and descriptive instructions so every patient can successfully submit appointment requests and inquiries.
Language Declaration
The site declares its language (English and Spanish) in the HTML so assistive technologies can apply the correct pronunciation and reading rules.
No Seizure Triggers
The site contains no content that flashes more than three times per second, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines for photosensitive users.

Known Limitations & Ongoing Work
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some third-party content — such as embedded maps and external scheduling tools — may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are actively working with our vendors to improve these areas.
We conduct periodic accessibility audits and address identified issues as part of our regular development cycle. Our goal is continuous improvement, not a one-time fix.
Feedback & Accessibility Requests
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and clinic. If you experience any barriers, need content in an alternative format, or require a reasonable accommodation for your visit, please reach out — we will respond within 2 business days.
